Super weekend & thanks to all involved in organisation. The weather gods certainly smiled upon us on saturday. Thanks to the Retrobates team!. Sunday was a somewhat different story, but v-enjoyable nonetheless - thanks John for leading us on & special thanks to Hilly & family for the "finger food" during the roof-fitting extravaganza - the bar has been raised & I suppose the take-away from the roof job was to "read the instrucions" :)

thanks again to all

Hey folks

Great to see you all at the weekend, friends old and new. Got home at 7 on the dot last night, and was still buzzin'

Pity about the weather, but it didn't really dampen things. highlights for me were

- playing ring-a-ring-a-rosie with '5s on the beach with the tide out. Very childish, very chavvy but 'fun'. I'm still shaking sand out of my satnav unit...
- that route John O'Neill took us on, leading past the haunted house and onto the pub for teas. What an epic drive...
- tech day at Hilly's. I think it was still raining ? I don't know, I was mostly in the kitchen heh heh.In terms of gastronomy, 5 Michelin stars. Hope you get those headlamps fixed, Hilly, if I had more tools with me I might have been able to modify the little pushrod
It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world

hi lads,
Just a note and a big THANK YOU to all for Sundays roof fitting and style bars.
I genuinely am so pleased with the outcome ( was so excited last night just kept peering at her through the mist and rain ). It was great to meet you guys in the flesh and Cloggy I have to say I enjoyed watching your Bum all day ( a fine bum it is too ) You barely came up for air! Special thanks to all those that travelled home last night with the heaters on full blast drying out your clothes you know who you are....I really enjoyed meeting everyone and am looking forward to seeing you all again soon. You really are a great bunch and so easy going and good company. Thanks again
all the best
Hilly

ps; I think we should christen Siska The Bernese mountain dog that stole into the pics our club mascot .... hmm if I could only get her power steering to work!!
