I am not sure really what is wrong but I had problems with Calibres before this happened and now I have no clutch. I haven't got a mechanic yet that I feel I can trust not to rip me off ! But I will be doing more research this week, it will have to be someone local as I can't move the car now to take it to anyone

C'mon you lad's in the Dublin/Bray area, surely there's someone out there who can help a maiden in distress. I'm away down the country, and anyway my mechanical knowledge is nill, so show us the club spirit, give P a call and arrange to help her out.

Looking good. Meeting point is the car park of the Tullamore Court Hotel O Moore St (Portlaoise Road) at 11 am with coffee to start. A quick trip to Kilbeggan, on to Clara (Cowen Country!) and back into Tullamore for a tyre kick in O Connor Square. Lunch has been orgainsed for the Wolftrap Pub at 1.00. After lunch we take the scenic route to Banagher (on Shannon) for a photo opportunity on the Marina. From there to Birr, onto Kinnitty, over the Sliabh Blooms (a trip to the midlands has to include a trip through "the Cut"), down to Clonaslee and back into Tullamore for a "debrief" in the Court Hotel. Weather looks good as well, so get the polish out! Lookin forward to seeing you all, can you stick down your names so that I can get a feel for the numbers for lunch. Paschal

Just over a day to go, weather looks ok for Sunday, so we should get some "topless" opportunities. If anyone needs directions, please give me a call on 086 3807738. Also, if anyone wants a quick wash on Sunday morning (the car that is!), I am only a couple of 100 yards from the Court Hotel and have all the necessary bits and bobs. Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

BTW, if anyone is good with those google maps thingies, maybe they can post a map of Tullamore, pointing out where O Moore St is.
