MX5 Ireland Does the Nurburgring - Anyone???

I am, barring a major disaster, going to have a little trip over to the Nurburgring.

The dark nights are drawing and the covers might be going over some of our little toys, but lets have something to look forward too.....

Not thinking on more than two days at the ring and a couple of days to get there and back maybe 5 days all up.

Any takers, anyone been before.

yeah i went last year...love to go again...but that will be next year i think.

Seriously interested also.
I sat down and costed it and it was quite affordable.
The ferries were substancially cheaper this year and I doubt that will change for next year. I know cloggy has plans for a euro trip too.

So I will likely annoy someone resurrecting this one.

For reasons that seemed good at the time I sold my yellow mx 5 about 9 months after getting it a few years ago.

I have recently bought another, boring silver this time. But next Saturday it is going to get thrashed on a minimum 4000kms in 8 days including the Nurburgring, loads of swiss passes, Stelvio, Moto Guzzi factory at Mandello Del Lario before heading home.

Side orders of the Porsche factory for the 911 celebrations, and technic museum.

yep, I've been..'twas actually on that run that's mentioned at the start of this thread, just before the feckin' country went down the tubes. It was always on my wish list to go to the 'Ring and I'm so glad I did..it's UNBELIEVABLE..be sure to visit Sabines' Mothers "Hotel am Tiergarten" in the village.. http://www.am-tiergarten.de/
