Numbers looking good for weekend and not sure how many will travel on the day to join us. Hope the weather will be good for us. Any ideas for fri night? BBQ perhaps .

sorry you won't be able to make it bren. looking like it's going to be good crack. was telling a friend of mine about the run and that we may be doing a coast run back to Donegal Town on sunday. he has a mk2 escort and he phoned today from spain to ask if we would like to call into a static display of classic and vintage cars in Ardara on sunday afternoon. he mentioned our run to one of the organisors and he asked him to pass on the invitation. it would be on our route. any thoughts on the subject?

I'll settle for that, gonna take a nice casual spin up on Friday, my only problem is a sticking front caliper on the 5.
I'm gonna tackle it between tomorrow and Thursday, if it can't be resolved then we'll be travelling in Mairead's car, so I may be seeking the position of "Official Support Vehicle" :|

i,ll be over there mid-afternoon to meet up with anybody arriving early. When we get a few together we'll suss out a venue for a BBQ. Hopefully somewhere with no driving involved. Going to bring the van over. We will have 15 patio chairs with us, so you won't have to carry so much.

Joh, Barney... I'll be arriving around 2.30am, most likely with an empty tank. Can you advise with a nearby petrol station where we can fill up in the morning?
See ya'll soon. CAN'T WAIT!!!
PS JD bought a red Mk1 from 90 last sunday, but won;t be joining us (as things stand now). I'm trying to convince him to come along, but so far no luck yet and he's dog-ditting instead
