Please do not start any debates about the sunny south east being the sunny south east!!!!! Yes, technically and geographically the deise sneak into this catagory but for PROVEN hours of sunshine per year ya can't beat the TRUE south-east: Wexford!!

Therefore I can catagorically confirm there will be sunshine on the wat-WEX run - it may only come out as a stream of mx5's put rubber this side of the border but hey!

Any complaints should be made in writing to:

FFS - looks like I'm in Galway on the 10th....the very talented Lloyd Cole is playing Roisin Dubh (and for those of you who appreciate his talents - he is in Whelans on 11th and 12th also....oh yes, and Belfast on May 1st).

Turns out I'm seeing Lloyd on Friday 1st and Morrissey on Saturday 2nd...roll on!

Had a problem like that last week, Hilly was trying to PM, but with no luck. Got one from Ash, Steve and John today and yesterday.

Postby valred » Thu, 19 Mar 2009 9:25 +0000

Hi folks,

Was just looking at all the maps and distances for the Wat/Wex trip. Can I please clarify that I just suggested locations in Wexford, Steve has put a lot of work and effort into it. The Garmin maps and points are excellent so thanks Steve!!

I went to Curracloe again at the weekend but the carpark was too busy to try a few powerslides!!!!!!!

Hopefully I will get lessons on this run!!!

Happy days,
Val.

Lads & Ladies,

Put me down for this one, havent been on forum for a while, just back from travelling, delighted to see new format.

Congrats on all the work on the mapping/pictures, the south east was my stomping ground from 1994/98, for all those out there who are free on that weekend give this run your support.

As matter of interest do you know if there are any other car meets on that weekend in the area, that used to be a popular route for the triumph owners club some years ago, would the likes of George Corbett in Waterford be interested in a photo shoot out the Cork road on the morning of set off would make great photo opp for everyone involved 20th anniversary and all that jazz, maybe they would host breckie in the showrooms!!!!!! no affiliations but they are absolutely sound with parts and advise any time I used them.
