Re: 2009 Mx5 Ireland Camping trip Thread -all posts to go here!Hi all.
Just in relation to camping, my 21yo is heading to Oxegen to work. She came home today with a tent she bought. 3 person tent that unfolds and pitches itself in a few seconds and folds up easily. Very handy, and although the girly colour wouldn't be my first choice, it comes in different colours! http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/part ... 3ETENT.htm Noel

Re: 2009 Mx5 Ireland Camping trip Thread -all posts to go here!Okay lads - have to make at least one run this year - so aiming for this if I can get my hands on a smaller tent (currently have a 2 bedroomed chalet version we use for family trips)
Put my name down too. Robin
Re: 2009 Mx5 Ireland Camping trip Thread -all posts to go here!OOOOHHHHHH!!!!!!
2 bedroomed chalet tent no less....there's posh for ya. You could bring it and we'll use it as a communal meeting/dining room in the event of inclement weather, leave the bedroom part at home Only joking. Is it the physical size that's causing the difficulty? If I've got the space in the family car I'll bring it along for you, sure might even bring a trailer .............so NO EXCUSES!! John

Re: 2009 Mx5 Ireland Camping trip Thread -all posts to go here!Ollie,
Certainly looks like a good gathering - count me in. Robin, Lidl have a Small Tent for sale on Thursday next @ €13.99 and they also have Mummy sleeping bag @ €11.99. Not a bad package @ €26.00! At that price I'll be paying them an early visit before they are all gobbled up. Tom (CashelMX5)
Re: 2009 Mx5 Ireland Camping trip Thread -all posts to go here!John - thanks for the offer - tent is big and heavy - together with poles it takes up most of my roofbox when going camping - have considered strapping it to the bike rack that I sometimes put on the 5 - but if it rains it'll be useless.
Lidl might be the answer or some of my nephews and nieces are dur back from oxygen tonight - might have a loan of a tent and some empty beer cans !!! Thanks lads Robin

Re: 2009 Mx5 Ireland Camping trip Thread -all posts to go here!Hi All
Looks like a good gang going. If I have her up and running by then count me in! I will even put up with a tent that is if I could actually get one up! Looked at the Argos site as suggested by.. (can't remember) I guess it is the one with the cow print wouldn't that be sweet Or I will try and find the floweriest one out there just so you don't forget there is a girl in the field and not a cow As I can't confirm if I am going I will keep my options open as to accommodation. If all the girls are going down the road to a B&B well that would be good craic too. I don't mind sharing a room (I don't snore!) Susan
