HI John,

Kettle will be on the boil :chef: .

Was in Dublin last Sunday so to give you an idea of the travel time - from Cashel to Kildare village was 1Hr. 15Min. therefore, the pit-stop time at my place will be dependent on the time you leave and the meet-up time at Riverstick - which is similar in time from Cashel.

Everybody, be concious of the boy's and girl's in blue on the M8 motorway - Thurles is the area HQ for the traffic corp so there's a plentiful supply of UNMARKED cars and this stetch of road has turned out to be a v-good revenue collector. Also, keep in mind to have €1.90 each-way in change for the Toll gate at Fermoy.

Thanks Tom, should be able to put together a schedule with that info as soon as I know who's gonna join the convoy (that's a big 10-4, rubber duck  )
If anyone doesn't know what that refers to, then you're too young to appreciate life before mobile phones!!! :alien:

Guys,

apart from the obvious unveiling .. what's the route for Sunday. I'm staying West and might meet up with you all if West is how you're coming???

Hi Guys,

Sundays details:
Time:10.00 am Sharp
Place: Petrol Station Riverstick(Theres only one !)
Details:
Sean or Myself will be there to meet everyone then back to Seans Place for Tea and Biscuits followed shortly afterwards by the "Unveiling" By Fergus of his New and Improved ! 8)
The run itself will roughly follow the following route:
Riverstick-Seanies House-Charles Fort-Kinsale-The old Head OF Kinsale-Garretstown Beach-Coolmaine-Timoleague-Inchadonny Hotel(Grub)-Clonakility
and on to Visit The Family Home of The Right Honourable Micheal Collins :)
Depending on the Tme we may head on further but as there is a Food Festival on in Kinsale we hope to finish up around 5 or so .
It will be a Scenic run with nice twisty Roads and not one of Marathon Mileage

We will be on out in Kinsale Saturday Night for pints and a live band will end the night so if anyone wants to contact Seanie by text to meet up-- his mobile is 087-903-6079.

Well done Mise,

Great route taking in some nice places and expecially the pit-stop at Inchydoney Island where the menu is terrific and the views would be hard to beat anywhere in Ireland. Love the place!

So for those coming from the Dublin direction - if the meetiing time at Riverstick is 10a.m. then we would have to be leaving my place, in Cashel, at 8:45. Like I said the kettle will be on so you'd need to be arriving here about 8:15'ish and not much later.

Now let's pray for the weather.

Tom

Right Tom, I'll leave Newbridge around 6:30 am, should be hitting you between 8 and 8:15 , based on your calculation of 1 hr 15min from Cashel to Kildare Village outlet . Weather is not looking great at the moment , but, fingers crossed
Anyone want to join in , be at the KILDARE VILLAGE OUTLET STORE CARPARK AROUND 6:30 ~ 6:40 . Anyone from the northern environs who'd like to stopover in Newbridge on Saturday night, make yourselves known..I'll find somewhere for ya to bunk down.
