Hi Barney,
I was going to book over on thu and back on mon. There will be trips organised for sat and sun, but it'll be like a mini-hol for all, so I'm going to be pretty relaxed about it.
I'm planning to stay at that camping Ivan reccomended. Haven't booked anything yet, but will do so soon. Ps did you mention you're booking for the mx5 weekend as we received special pricing. Also contact steam packet holidays when bokking accomodation as they might get favourable pricing.
I'm waiting till NeXT month as than i'll be able to talk to someone on THE camping to arrange special pricing.
Regards,
Cloggy

Update from UK 5's
The latest figures we have are that 10 cars have booked staying at the Mount Murray. Arriving on Friday 9th returning Monday 12th...That's Phil & Chris, Brian & Su, Marcus & Pauline from the gang last year plus 7 other couples.

Looking forward to a grand weekend with you all and the manx crowd...

OK, just come off the Phone with John who informed me he is ready to receive us and keep us together.
I just booked in here: http://www.isleofman.com/Business/g/glenwyllin/?area=tourism&cat=319
When you book the camping:
1) Use one of the following options:
- Call
- Email (GlenWyllinCampsite@manx.net)
- Fax (download booking form from their website + complete + fax)
2) Direct to: John or Pam
3) Mention 'MX5 Event'

More detail regarding the entire trip to follow shortly.
See you there...

Having a sinking feeling about this trip. It looks like I may be floating onto a collision course at work, and may be called in early on Monday.

I'm posting myself back to 'provisional' for the moment, and will confirm later.

:(
Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com
