First Post here Lads/Lassies We are the lads that are putting together the run itself. We went out last Monday and done a final run around. We checked the roads and informed the Clifden feds that we were going into their territory..... We told them that we would have about 15-17 cars .. How wrong is that when we will be expecting about 35 odd incuding yourselves. We may need to split the group up so we might need sombody (Steven perhaps) to lead your group of MX-5's. Id say maybe 10mins between groups. We will all be meeting up at about 9:30am at the top carpark of the Connemara Coast Hotel so I can hand out maps, schedule and all important stern "No acting the maggot will be tolerated" speech from myself We will be stopping at Keoghs of Ballyconeely for tae, coffee, soup and sambos. This is €6.50 and they will have the bar all set up for us. Next stop is Kylemore Abbey where we will be getting a special rate for a guided tour of the gardens and house.. This is €8. If you dont want to do this fair enough the gardens are free to roam. It definately worth getting a look at the house and stuff. The nuns are on a recruitment drive at the minute so dont get drawn into this .....! I have negotiated the coach carpark so we can all park together without danger of some tourist numpty damaging our pride and joys..! Then it will be back to the Hotel where I got a special price for the dinner even you are not staying of €15 per head.. I have to confirm this but...! The whole run is 137miles but it will be at a relaxed pace and as I said earlier all it takes is some ballb*g to spoil it for the rest of us... Dont be that ballb*g I am really looking forward to meeting you all on the 25th April and most importantly bring a camera ....! Donal

Hey Donal,
Thanks for all the work on the arrangements! Can you send on the time schedule when you have it? To help divide up the cars I think we might take a longer route out of Clifden (want to take in Omey Island, depending on tide times of course..) and catch up @ Kylemore.
Looking forward to it! Steve
