Haven't been checking emails or the 5 site over the last couple of days whoops  Nikki emailed me saying 7 are coming but she has serious reservations about the weather and the possibility of slipy dangerous roads and the garda out in force. One of their gang is coming from Cork and one from Dundalk. So no showing off now lads  I think a couple are driving 5s but they are in the Octane club not ours. One of them is a display driver (What's a display driver?) Is it that fancy stuff we saw in Mondello?

See ya all tomorrow

The weather looks bad enough... Think I'll give the meet up a skip.

We're still going to go ahead and see how it goes. Staying in Wicklow ourselves tonight. We'll be there for about 10ish for breakfast and ready to leave for 11.00.

I'm planning on giving it a go at least. It's either that or cleaning the house

So nice meeting such a wonderful gang of true Petrolheads. Roads greasy so speeds were a wee bit too slow but route was great. Weather shite at times but hey, Mx5'5 in the rain......you dont get wet, SUSAN!!!! Fair play to Susan for introducing us to 7 of the S2K gang and their fab cars. Hope they can meet with us again. Nice people, nice Cars and maybe Susan can contact Nicky and pass contact details of future meets. Maybe the Kerry Run??????? 16 Cars today and if we can manage to upload some photos we will. Great Run.
The perfection of a Car's beauty is that nothing should be there for beauty's sake.

That was a buzz ...and the photos are great... Maxi those moody shots are magic. So good to meet everyone. That was my first trip out, and it definately won't be my last. Only now I've got a long and probably expensive wish-list for bits I want to add to my 5...! Gawd the look on the faces of some of those other non-5 motorists. Bewildered to borderline murderous. Hysterical....!
Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com
