Thats what i was thinking. So why not keep it to one day instead of 2?.

I'd prefer if you didn't speak to me like that sideways it's not on.
I am allowed have a say.
I'm not changing anything.
I'm only suggesting that it seems silly to have drinks on friday why not keep it all on saturday. thats all.

Ok, please - Calm ppl,
Re; the get together - its not really a 2 day thing. It started off as just xmas lunch - ie. Lunch @ 1 or 2 O'Clock in the day on that Saturday with people gone home by 3pm ish.
It then developed into a few drinks the night before and if anyone wanted to come on the Friday evening to that nice B&B or the Hotel , they could and come for a few xmas drinks. The latter is/was optional.

well the post started for saturday and everyone signed up for that including Ivan , then there was the friday night option for people travelling. Its a wee bit of a pain checking out hotels etc and then to book and then a suggestion of changeing the date .

Right - no more fighting boys!!! Lets just stick to plan A as it seems to suit most people. Lunch Saturday and Friday drinks optional for those that can make it that evening (thanks for the bookings.com tip John V)

As Stig says it's not a 2 day thing and we all still have a full day at the weekend for that last dash to the shops :D

Stig - thanks for organising and the accomodation links.

When the war is over let me know!

If we are doing Chris Kindle can I get this for you know who
http://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk/unusua ... orsche.htm

I hope I can make it to either the mx5 night before, or the lunch, but I think it is clashing with my work Christmas party I will be in http://www.ferrycarrighotel.ie/index.aspx. At least I won't be bored that weekend or at home on a Friday night drinking wine again LOL (P.S we are paying for it ourselves as per usual so don't even go there !)

Disgusted Mustard that I missed the Kerry trip looked fab and I love that part of the country.

There was no war.
I made a suggestion.
Nobody liked it.
I suggested it again.
Sideways got sideways
steve Rigley took the piss.
We all laughed.
I got a toy Porsche.
Now who else can I piss off.
I see the beginnings of a book here..........
