8th August evening run for our Spanish friends

Postby shenab » Wed, 08 Aug 2012 9:18 +0000

Just home after a lovely spin. Sorry I couldn't join you all for dinner .. Maybe the next time.

It was great to see Eoin Bren and Ger - it's been ages, and indeed hi to Mick, Fiona and David whom I've not met before.

Great to see our Spanish friends again. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and say hi to Brian and the guys up north when you see them. Safe travels.

Thank you everyone for such a great turnout..we had 13 cars at the start with 4 more joining en route , and then some departing at different stages also. Frank, we were convinced that you were hiding somewhere in Johnnie Foxes, as we saw a car in the car park identical to your Jag , alas you weren't to be found..or did you deliberately keep a low profile??
We did not get to take any pictures as I was more concerned with keeping the whole convoy moving so I want all participants who did manage to get pictures to post them up as soon as possible.
To Antonio and Xavier and your wives, thank you very much for your company and for the opportunity to show you around a small piece of our world, we wish you a safe journey as you make your way around the rest of Ireland. Thank you also for your gifts at the end of the evening..I shall wear the t-shirt with pride and we look forward to tasting the ratafia this evening :D

Hi all,

Thank you very much for this wonderfull run, it was really amazing!

It was a pleasure to meet all the people we met last year in Blanes, and also, it has been a pleasure to know new irish friends. We'll keep this meeting in our memories for a long, long time.

(We'll share some photos when we arrive home)
