Ok, here we go...

There are no houses in Killaloe available in the Lough Derg Holiday village and they would have had to be booked for a full weekend at a high rate as this is their busiest time.

However I have contacted The Woodlands Hotel in Adare and we can get a holiday home there for one night only. This has 4 double rooms and a sofa!! This will cost €350 for the night between the 8/9 staying costing in the region of €39 a head. Anyone wanting to stay the sat night in the holiday home let me know so I can hold it as twil be gone.
http://www.woodlands-hotel.ie/holiday-homes.html

I have stayed in this hotel and its beautiful and only 2mins from the beautiful village of Adare.

I am also going to suggest for handiness that we all meet here at 9.15am. I spoke with the organisers and traffic is gonna be bedlum even at this hour so if we could meet in the carpark of the Woodlands Hotel Adare at 9.15 that would be handy for those staying and room for us to meet before we enter the show by convoy.

Also, I think it would be a good idea to have a small shelter (not a tent!) small covering of some sort ..does anyone have one they could bring along? I would also suggest if anyone has small foldup seats/stools bring them along, could prove very handy.
Steve, do we have some sort of sign or anything we could place near the shelter? think it would look the biz.

Anyone got a small foldable table they could bring??

We have 20 cars confirmed, which is right up there as one of the largest number for a group at the show besides 'MINI' (so far)!
So thanks a million lads in lassies, really looking forward to seeing yez all. :D

I have a gazebo, but it will be a bloody nuisance to transport. I'll see if I can attach it to the boot lid as opposed to it straddling the wife's lap!!! Mind you, shouldn't be too tricky after all..the spoiler will provide anchorage.

John

PS Ann, I can't recall if I put my name for the stopover Saturday night? Can you confirm? If I haven't, is it too late??

I will be travelling from Dublin on Sunday morning, we'll try to get there by 9:15am but won't promise. Is there an issue of getting in later beside the traffic?

Right, so no plans for bbq etc on Sunday night? I will then book accommodation wherever I find one :-)
