Hi Guys and Gals,
During my time in this club I have been delighted to see photos of our regular runs and tech days. I would like to ask the club if you all would think of putting these happy day photos on a callander for club members and sell to Mazda Dealers and the general public for charity.

If so there would have to be essentials in each photo. 1. Part of or all of MX5(s) in photo.
2. Each photo location to be a tourist place of interest.
3. Reg. Mumber plates to be blanked out on publication.
4. Remember only twelve photos needed. Dont be dissapointed if you are not in the callander. There is always next year.

I dont know if this has been tried before? There are Internet sites that will print such item. Looking forward to your constructive feedback. Kind Regards, Hazel

Hi Hazel,

Thats a great idea! Feel free to use any of the photos on the website, if you need help in editing any just give me a shout.
It'll also be possible to put a pic/banner on the forum/webpage advertising it too.

Strange i was thinking the very same thing today. Looking at Vista print site as they send me emails all the time through work and they were offering 1 free calander.
Its getting late in the year so if this goes ahead it would need to be quick.
Submission of pics etc
Great idea though, maybe start small and do them for club members this year and next year try to get organised with one for charity sale etc.
What do you guys think ?

Ivan would you be able to print calanders?

An interesting idea......there are some great pics on the site, although maybe a meet specifically for a photoshoot would produce more "tailored" pictures. As Ash noted, time is limited....

Yeah i really think that next year we should stick up a thread getting people to take pics of there car with a view to voting on the them and getting a really good calendar done up in 2010.
COuld knock up something quick for this year as well though depending on the interest. Would have to use pics that i or others have already. Its not really photo weather at the minute.

I think a series of 12 ( one per month) photo montages from the years runs would be very amusing. I'm already thinking about the Kildare/Wicklow run for next year....hope to utilise Mondello even further this time round.

Gosh, Guys,

I really glad I got the positive creative motion going. Put another twist on the calendar why not have an MX5 Ireland 21st Birthday Calendar. Only hold up is me, I'm still a virgin where computing programmes will take me? I would like help or is there someone quicker than me this year to wave their magic mouse and get the job done?

I'm a slow learner but enthusiastic and willing.
Kind Regards
Hazel

no worries hazel, there's plenty of us on here who can help out....
i'm sure the calander layout would be dealt with by the selected printers. we would just have to supply cover page and montages or pics etc....
