Dublin -> Sligo road was closed earlier so expect a few holdups.

*N4/WESTMEATH* The N4 Dublin/Sligo Rd has now reopened both ways just west of Mullingar approx 2km past the Covert pub, following an earlier crash, which has now been cleared. All diversions have now been lifted.

Just in, about 5 laps of the grand prix left. Thanks everyone for a great weekend, and especially from my family ( well, the half of them that went to the run) for including them in yesterdays events
The stories will, no doubt, materialise over the next few posts...looking forward to them and we're really looking forward to the pics when Tom gets them posted.

Have to get the wet gear out of the trailer now and try to get all the stuff dried out asap.

Got the call this mornin so had to skip quickly so apologies if I didnt get to say goodbye to all. What can I say?A fab weekend again and fair play indeed to the Leamys the camping legends for the hospitality and craic.I had no idea I could voluntarily stay awake till 5:30am discussing every facet of human existence until I met Fiona and Aoife and of course Wayne.Dont forget thanks for the friendly warden who showed us how to light a big fire and call it a bbq and get the wood for us!Look forward to the Shannon Pot run.Who's up for it?

Just to confirm, I am NOT Wayne's Dad

John

PS I'm probably working next weekend so a run is quite likely off the agenda :|

Hi All,
Have to say had a blast, thanks to all who shared their portable BBQ's with Dylan and I.
As usual a big thank you to all who helped in the communal babysitting of Dylan, you know who you are, thank you (especially on Saturday morning  )

Sorry girls, but the luxury apartment option no longer applies...
it's canvas or nothing!!!

yeah, like that's gonna happen

Sure 'twas only because of the good weather on Friday and Saturday that we weren't all camped on your sitting room floor

Big thanks you to Ollie for organising the trip. Great stuff lad and thanks for the guidance on saturday.
Didn't take any pics, so will be enjoying yours this time.
Gonna have a lovely night sleep tonight, without Ollie shouting through my head, John Cheatley snoring (gasping for air) in my right ear and Laurence in my left ear. hmmmm night night guys.

Awesome pics Steve.

PS I believe Richie is organising a 1-day trip from his place, on Sunday 13-Sep.
Richie, start a new post on the runs and we'll see who's coming.

C ya'll soon...
