the uk mx5 owners club national event is being hosted by the ni branch at the ulster folk and transport museum, cultra near hollywood, co. down on sat 29th may 2010. we were talking about this event at the camping trip in roscommon.would anybody be interested in attending. iknow there were some reservations about cost of accomadation as it is a bank holiday in ni but we could perhaps gather and stay in carlingford, which i gather was very enjoyable on a previous visit by some members. we could then travel to cultra on sat morning on main newry belfast road, enjoy the day and then travel back via the down coast that evening. only throwing it in the pot for discussion especially for any members who may have to travel long distances or for members who may want to take their famalies as on camping trip.

Hi Barney,

This topic came up in conversation on Sunday during the West Cork run and it would appear that there is interest in making the trip north. Perhaps a bit early for doing a commit list but no harm in getting an expression of interest. I'd certainly be interested in making the journey but would have no problem with accommodationas my mother is living in Monaghan which is less than an hour from Belfast.

Refards,
Tom
