Myself and Sean won't make it. Will be heading to Kilcoole (wicklow) ourselves for an overdue visit to the parents! Enjoy - hopefully some of you might make it to the mourne mountains the following Sunday. Lovely twisty roads and great scenery with lunch in carligford.

I'm heading up from Limerick to Carrickmines, it'd be great to meet a few more of the MX5ireland heads! There's going to be a fantastic selection of cars there to ogle over!

Go on, go on, go on...

Hi vDubbin,

Depending on your departure time, - I'll be leaving from Cashel and we could meet at Portlaoise.

...I'm afraid I'm running into a problem too. How long are you guys likely to remain at Carrickmines?

I've been asked to go hiking in Glendalough in prep for a charity challenge I'm working up to. Going to start early around 8am - and shouldn't be much more than 4 hours.

Might be able to join you on the way home? :|

Problems are going around.... Had a lovely run down through the Wicklow Mountains this morning rather than traveling down the N11 home. Bright, dry roads not to much traffic and LOADS OF NICE TURNS! That made for a lovely drive.. But I've felt there's something up the last few spins I've taken and it was comformed when I got home.. :(

Hot wheel... front drivers side... Looking like bearings! Been to the auto's and no joy was going to fit this avo and be ready to go.

So kinda pizz .ff now, been looking forward to meeting more people from the fourm since meeting a few last year in Galway.. So I guess I can relax now and enjoy my sister birthday tonight. Have a nice day(safe driving) and have an extra coffee for me.

My god, what a turnout.

Favourites for me where the rat-look BMW 2002, all of the TVRs, the mint Mercedes 190 2.3-16 and the Renault Apines.

The Ford GT was awesome, but slightly anticlimatic for me - I have seen the real thing (GT40 from the '60s) and reckon that a kitcar version of the GT40 might be more appealing... Anyway, amazing stuff. Lots of Lotuses and VX220s on show - way more than MX5s. Lots of S2000s as well.

Great to see everyone as well although I think everyone was walking around in a daze LOL

I was wondering what the crowd were doing at the exit - turns out someone was videotaping the cars peeling out of the car park for Youtube posterity :)
It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world
