There's a trackday on teh 26th of march orgainised by Driver.ie and the IMOC.

Full international circuit 12pm till 5pm (usually runs longer)
175 per car with 1 driver... ususal mondello rules

hope to see a few more 5s there besides me.

Passenger allowed?

... I wouldn't take her on the track... but I might nip down to watch?

If I'm not working I'll probably drop over for an eyeball too, I'm only 10 mins from track. Won't have the 5 for the track though.

Well folks heres the plans for our Track Day for 2010:

As per the last day we will be running it jointly with the IMOC, last year was a (wet) blast and im sure this years will eclipse that! Details below.


March 26th 2010 (Friday 12pm till 5pm-ish)

€175 per car with one driver. Additional drivers are €50 per additional driver. Only one car per €175

FULL International track, not the small gay one! Open pit lane on the day

Roll cage? Nope. Just wear long sleeved clothes. You can have the top down if you want.

rules. Slow at yellow, come in on Red, Let guy past at blue, Overtake on left (maybe) indicate to let others know you're letting them past.

Wow looks like I might be the only lone 5 there. Dont' be scared guys I aint got a turbo no more!

Being on a Friday does make it a bit awkward, maybe I'll develop a hunger for track days after the ring trip

Hi, I would be into doing this, who are IMOC? Is there a half day option?

I did one on the 30th Jan, great crack but wore a lot off my new toyo tyres, looking for a set of 14" used track tyres for a spare set of wheels I have. If I get these at a reasonable price I'll be there in a silver mk1

IMOC are teh Mini owners club.

14 inch track tyres.... not much choice.

You can get 14" Yokohama A539s but they're not the best track tyre
Yokohama Ao48 can be got in 14 but every expensive like 120euro each.

I know Andy Mo in Tuning Factory has 15" Hankook RS2 which are meant to be a great track tyre (thats what I'm getting) at a great price 65euro a corner.
