Re: Mourne Mountain Stage.Carlingford for dinner. Mar 14th ?Run complete. Roads are a mixture of the Borlin and the Healy Pass. Some great hairpins to play on, fabulous scenery from black mountain looking over Carlingford Lough and best of all, no traffic.
Plan is to meet up on the old N1 at the Carrickdale Hotel , Carrickcarnon (just before the old Customs post) at 1100 hrs. From the M1 , go past the Carlingford exit and exit left before flyover following B113 for Carrickcarnon.Think its junction 20. Hotel is straight in front. GPS POS. 54 06 .5 N 06 21.5 W Carlingford is gorgeous if you hav'nt been and there are lots of places to eat so no need to book. Bring a good camera if its nice like today. Any hassles, phone me . Pete & Emma A bit later in the week when we get some numbers gathered I would recommend booking a table in Magees Bistro, great food but it can get busy & would be best to confirm a table. If any of you are in need of a B&B let me know, my Mother in Law owns a nice place in the village, secure parking too. Cheers, Pete

Re: Mourne Mountain Stage.Carlingford for dinner. Mar 14th ?tahts a shame Pete, no worries , we will do it again. Route is 42 km and then the run into Carlingford. Its all the WRC test routes. Worth a trip to see if a bigger run is feasable.
