Hi all, Received notice to day for the 19th. Irish Classic & Vintage Show at Terenure College on, wait for it Coleslaw Will, July 4th. A number of us went to this show last year and it was just fantastic. Although the weather wasn't great on the day, the number and quality of the cars was spectacular. It was hard to believe that there would be such a big number and variety of cars on display. Vehicles on display included, Vetern , Vintage and Classic Cars, Motorbikes, Commercial, Military Vehilces, Kit and Custom Cars, Sports and Super Cars and One Marque Clubs. There'll also be a number of commercial stalls so you might manage to pick up some goodies for your car. The show is extremely well organised with a coral for each car model including one for MX5's. Entry is just €10 with all the proceeds, this year, going to ARC Cancer Support and St. Francis Hospice, Raheny and for those who enter before June 20th. you'll get a Commerative Ceramic Plate. An entry form can be found on http://www.irishjagclub.ie - print it off, complete and post it to Isabelle McCann, 34a Ballytore Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 before June 20th. This is important as pre-registering guarantees your space and that you reeceive your commerative plate. It's a long day so it would be wise to bring some food, although, last year, we discussed bringing along a garden Gazebo and BBQ to future events - just as the seasoned campaigners had done. OK! who' s up for the Terenure Show this year? I'll start the ball rolling -sign up below; 1) CashelMX5

It was the same weekend last year, you shower were invited to our BBQ if I remember rightly, but decided to go car posing instead Not sure if we can make it this year, the BBQ will be on the Saturday prob and depending on numbers, can take a couple of days to recover! So I guess that's a no from us

Tom, Do we need to book a space for MX5 Ireland with the organisers? I have downloaded the entry form, it might be handy to put MX5 Ireland on the entry form, to help them allocate spaces. Paschal

Hi Pascal,
Yeah, I think that has to be done and I'm not sure who did it lst year. All we had to do was to turn up on the day and the area was marked with MX5 Ireland notice.
Steve, any idea?

Hi guys and gals, Pj and I are going to the car show. The organisers allocate space for mx5 club. We just arrive and are shown where to park. We have a mini, foldable, gas barbie, we would bring it. That means everyone would have to bring their own raw foods to cook on it, and your flask of hot water for coffee/tea. Our barbie is only big enough to cook one larg pack of frankforterd at one time. Hopefully the summer will arrive by then and highlight our gleaming motors. Warm Regards Hazel
