Site is approx 2 miles from the centre of Tipperary town on the Limerick road. I will post directions tomorrow. Lets make it a good one. Anyone bring a picnic, BBQ?? I will try and bring a gazaboo.

Great, looking good. I will try and bring a gazabo and table/chairs. Can we meet up in Tipperary at say 10.30/10.45 and go out in convoy to the site at about 11.00? Does anyone know a place to meet in Tipperary? Anyone coming down the M7; if so we can meet at the Midway Hotel in Portlaoise at say 9.15 am (take the Abbeyleix turnoff from the motorway and head for Portlaoise town. Hotel is just off the roundabout). See you all tomorrow. BTW My number is 086 3807738

Just back from a very enjoyable day in Tipperary. Very well run event, weather was dull but rain did hold off. Thousands of people attended the event and there was a great array of cars, tractors etc. Met up with Seamus, Brian and the rest of their crew and they did an excellent job rebuilding the MX5. Got it driving before the day was out. Still needs the "finishing" touches, however all the mechanics etc now complete. Well done and thanks again to Seamus for the invite and for a great day out.

Yes indeed had a most enjoyable day today, think we had 19 cars join us for some part of the day.
Welcome to the new faces amongst us..Chris and Sean and others, your cars are a credit to you.

Great to see the 5 being restored to driving condition and well done to Seamus and all your helpers, we look forward to seeing the finished article in due course.

The whole event was very well run and thousands passed through to see the full array of cars.

Overall an excellent day out and thanks to Seamus for organising our 'cosy corner' for the mx5s. Another day where our cars created alot of interest and comment.

Thanks to all for a most enjoyable day. 8)

Regards John.

Besides Seamus' big project, quite a number of MX5'er turned up on the day. The organisers had us positioned in a lovely corner behind the main stand and there was huge interest in the MX5. At one point, we had 19 MX5's on show with lots of questions from the public and lots of new friends met. John C even got his big chance to speak about MX5Ireland over the public address system when he was interviewed by one of the organisers; Well done John, you did an excellent job and represented the club with distinction! Very enjoyable day with Picnics, BBQ (John C again) etc. It was great to see such a big turnout, interest in the MX5 is growing rapidly. Below are a few photos to give a flavor of the day.

Don't seem to have a photo of Sean's beautiful 92 example (Shiny Red, John Leamy take note!); I do however, have a photo of the engine bay so this will give you a flavor as to what the rest of the car looks like, Sorry about that Sean, maybe someone else has a photo to post up here.
