11-March flashmob - Birr, Co. Offaly

Postby franksm » Tue, 06 Mar 2012 7:57 +0000

Anyone up for an impromptu run ?

I heard that the cafe at Birr Castle has re-opened, and it behoves us to check it out. <insert other excuse for a run if that doesn't work>

Birr is bang in the centre east-west, so should be easy to get to. Bing maps say it's an hour and a half from Dublin on the main road; I have no idea of the route ,so will use satnav and get it to pick lesser roads.

Meeting in the carpark at Avoca handweavers, Rathcoole at 1100h on Sunday 11th March, leaving at 1200h noon.
