Hi guys, just recently found out that the Goldstone track in kilkenny has an offer of 5 track days for 100e and 10 track days for just 150e!!
I tink it was a christmas offer but i went down last sunday and had no trouble getting the 10 day offer.
For those of you unfamiliar with goldstone its fairly basic with just a figure 8 track, that said the track itself is quite wide and is an ideal place for any1 learning to drift or just looking for a fun day out in the 5.
Have a no. ere for the owner John, real sound fella btw, 087 8102822.
Just said i'd release de knowledge out there anyway, hope sum1 has a few gud days out!!

Went up there on sunday to have a look. John told me to go out and have a go for a few laps on the house.
Good crac but with the dry weather and semi slick rear tyres all i got was tyre squeel and very little sideways action.
Would be deadly in the wetor with budget less grippy tyres on the back.
Good setup there. Plenty of room in the carpark for a good get together if anyones up for it.

yea i would mind a meet up down there for say a months time or that will have the car out tax and nct'd it doesn't look as daunting as mondello for first time drifter would be good fun. I've been down there once couple years back but can't remember where the place is for the life of me.

how much would we be talking to use it ?

I did my first drift day a few weeks ago in mondello was nervous before i got out on track but that went away quiclky. Goldstone wouldnt be a bad place the only thing i would be worried about is if it was dry carrying enough speed amd so little run off
