Lisburn Show and Mournes Run 28-29th June

Anybody interested on going to Lisburn for the Classic & Sportscar show being organised by Peter and crew from Mx5 NI. There were flyers for this show and run put on the cars in Portlaoise om Monday. The show is on Sat 28th followed by a BBQ. There is camping available on site. Bring your own beverage. I've just booked into a Premier Inn which is just up the road. £35 per room per night. The Mournes Run is on Sunday 29th leaving Sprucefield which is across the road from the Rugby Club. Brian & Mary

Thanks for posting this Brian, I will post more information when I get confirmation of camping price. The show is in aid of Marie curie and we will collect£5 per car,the BBQ and evening entertainment will cost£10 per head. Looking forward to it.

There are a couple of nice b&bs beside me and that would leave you only 9 miles 15 mins from lisburn. From what I saw £55 for one of them and the other does a single for £35.

Hi folks, This event is now only 4 weeks away. The classic and sports car show on the Saturday is in aid of Marie curie open to the public from 10am till 5pm, entry is£5 per car at the gate. On site camping and caravans, £7 per tent, £10 per caravan.
The MX5 club BBQ and evening entertainment will start at 7.30 till late, tickets are now available cost£10.
I will be at Mosney this Sunday (in the midget) and will have tickets with me. Last date for BBQ tickets will be Kilbroney on the 21st. Available on the club stand. On the Sunday of the show weekend we are having an MX5 run into the Mourne's with a visit to Silent Valley and a parade run up to Ben Crom reservoir. This run will start at 11am.

Only two weeks now to show time, but only one week to get tickets for the BBQ and evening entertainment. Tickets sales end on Saturday 21st at Kilbroney show. If you intend coming to this event and want tickets please contact Peter by pm or phone 07909978482.
