Hi everyone.. I am Wazza and it was I who Val met with the MX5 Oxford run. My car is General Custard a Mk1 J11 Ltd... Eunos Roadster in Bright yellow... I will add pics in another post soon. Just wanted to say Hi and it was great to meet Val... we all enjoyed Ireland very much and hope to come back again soon. (Will post more later) just wanted to say Hi for now.

We are all back home now and tomorrow (Monday I will get a new wing mirror fitted)

I know Sue Duncan (still driving a yellow car?) and would like to hook up with them if they are passing Galway..

Hi Steve

I no longer have a yellow '5 - mine is the Le Mans in the photos! What are you doing in Galway? the last time we spoke you lived in Dublin! Have you still got your '5? I had 2 yellows at one time - the California and an Arizona.

We didn't get as far as Galway unfortunately, the furthest north we got was Spanish Point.

I am sorry we didn't get to meet up.

Sue

So ye did come north - thought ye were staying around Cork/Kinsale environs. Pity as I'm Co. Clare-based 5-person ('91 Eunos - red of course) & could've given ye the local tour

sorry about that - I didn't know about the MX-5 Ireland forum until Wazza found it on our return. It would have been nice to meet up with some Irish '5s, but of course Valred found us.

Next time......

The one sure way of getting fired is to organise a committee for something or other.. we hate that sort of thing

The other way is to renounce your love of the mx5
That will get you fired and probably exiled to a distant planet as well :(
