Maz fan, it'll just be a run up to the show, am sure we could throw in a bit of a spin on the way up/back too :-)

Anyone passing close want to meet up at the Orantown Centre in Oranmore @ 10am?

Can I go from Athlone directly to Moylough/ Mountbellew as going via Roscommon town seems miles out of the way ,looking at AA routeplanner.I am very familiar with Roscommon as both parents were from there on Galway border but not sure on easiest route direct to Mountbellew /Moylough .Planning on attending but not in mx5 ,Too noisy and wife thinks its too bumpy......Wagon.....( Her not the car).Might visit the parents graves in Fuerty next day.Just to be good son and all that. Ol,fella was mad in to cars as was my grandfather .He had garage near Creggs in 1930,s .Caseys garage ( probably not Ford dealers at that time) had to bring there model T,s etc to him to fix as they did not have any qualified mechanics.Dont forget there was no training in them days. You learned by cop on and general common sense but the grandfather was blacksmith originally and cars went hand in hand with that trade.Suppose it was nearesr thing to mechanical work as most people were farmers etc around there. The Doctor and the Priest were only people who had cars at that time, then sales picked up a bit and my grandfather had 1st taxi/hackney in the area, mostly bringing people to Knock ( religious ) and Galway for the day....Imperial hotel for dinner and spendin the hard earned money from selling the bullocks to buy clothes for the childer in the big shops. Start of the recession in Roscommon....people starting to buy outside the town....turncoats.
