Anybody booked accommodation yet ? I see that hotels/BB on the list are filling up, Bank Holiday I guess. I assume that the meet will be based in the Oranmore area.

2 more for Sat and Sun. Booked into the Coach House Hotel. I have to be home for work on Monday evening so we have to give The Burren a miss. Steve always raving about Connemara soup so we'll have to check it out. Just noticed all the Donegal men are called Brian

Unfortuneatly we have to pull out of this run as Mary has not been well for the last month or so and may have to be admitted back into hospital in the next few days. Someday we will make it on a run to the west. Enjoy

I'm new here but my dad and I will hopefully be travelling up in our 5's! (That's if I get mine up and running by then)
Anyone know what exactly is happening/where is everyone meeting/times and routes etc.? :)

Sat day time I think a few will be swinging spanners in Oranmore if you want to pop along.
Sat night, a few drinks in Oranmore, most likely McDonagh's "The Thatch", you can't miss it, its on the main street.

Sunday and Monday, meetup at 10:30am (ish) in the Oran Town Centre :Link to map

Hoping to be on the road by 11am.

Sunday we'll head out towards Maam Cross -> Leenane (lunch) -> Letterfrack -> Omey -> Clifden -> Galway
(bound to be slight deviations to this, PM me and I'll send you my number).
*edit * - just spotted that the Omey races are on on Sunday, any interest in taking a look? Then again... might be worth avoiding that traffic...

Monday, Kinvara -> Ballyvaughan (classic car meetup there on bank holiday Mondays, worth a look I believe), will see how the weather is then and decide what we want to do.
