This is the deal that they have offered us.
Two nights B+B plus one dinner on the Saturday night.
Cost 99 Euro Per Person
Limit on number of rooms so first come first served.
Need to know A.S.A.P.
The drive down and Saturday/Sunday runs will be posted later"

When I hear more I will post. .

Leaving The Pier Hotel, Mullaghmore at 10am. I haven't seen the route yet but some great roads close by. I'm travelling on the day and hope to be there by 9.30.

Hi Barney, not sure on the route Saturday, you may find that your leading it. Tom asked me this morning if I would do the Sunday run, which is fine by me. I know that you aren't around on the Sunday, but I thought you may run your eye over this route as I gather it is your neck of the woods.
Bundoran, Rossnowlagh, Donegal, Killybegs, Killcar, Glencolumkille, Glengesh pass, Ardara,, Glenties, Dungloe, Gweedere (possibly into Bunbeg Derrybeg Atlantic Way to Gorte) Errigal, Glenveagh visitor centre, Letterkenny from where they could either head to Derry or Lifford on their way back to the smoke. Appreciate your input and advice on watering holes.

Hi Brian, I would suggest visiting Sliabh League rather than Glenveagh Park, which would need at least 2hrs. Caislean Oir in Annagry would be great for a pit-stop. I plan to be in Mullaghmore by 9.30 at the latest on Sat morning and we can finalise the route then. It would be basically The Wild Atlantic Way North until we have to cut across country to get people back to Mullaghmore in time for dinner. See you on Sat morning at the hotel. Brian aka Barney

Had a great run with the group from NI on the Sat. We did the Mullaghmore loop, Gleniff Horseshoe, a visit to Yeats grave in Drumcliff, Glencar Waterfall, around Lough Gill and then Rosses Point. Mullaghmore proved to be a great base with great accomadation In the Pier Head Hotel which has a car-park with pin-code entry/exit. The weather was a little cold but it stayed dry all day so it was tops down all the way. That was my last run of the year and my 5s are now in hibernation for the winter.
