Is a grip session just bringing your car around the track for all cars, i.e no drifting? And the drift session is different? Sorry if it's a stupid question just can't find info on it haha

Correct cian. I think the grip is actually on a separate track and they are run at the same time. Thats what it looked like the last time anyway.

The mondello website is a joke.

There is a drivers briefing in the morning, usually half an hour before track time starts. But if youre just doing a 20min stint then you just pay and go, ive done both and thats what happened each time I went.

Can you just go up and park there and walk around mondello without entering your car in the show and shine or the grip \drift sessions does anyone know?

Weather turned out very shitty but had fun out on track and we were lucky to get a pit garage between 4 of us so stayed fairly dry

had a blast out on the grip track, was very impressed with my car, couldn't fault it in any ways, amazing handling , really surprised with my 60euro goodyear tyres which impressive serious wet grip. I will be getting a Roll bar tho for the next session as this was always in the back of my head through out the day. Was initially worried about the rain but it was much better craic than expected.

Drifting looked like serious craic.....had track / drift car notions spiinng round in my head now

Whats peoples reviews on this? Do you get much drifting time throughout the day? Also, whats the requirements for cars going drifting?

Ya you get a good bit of drifting time.... works out 20 min per hour and you should get 6 sessions. Brilliant day out im booked into it and cant wait. I think min requirements are fixed back bucket seat, harness and front and rear tow hooks but id message them just to be sure.
