Trackday monday 4th September

Postby leamyj » Tue, 29 Aug 2017 6:41 +0000

I've just signed up for the afternoon session, Mondello Park.

Ever wondered what it's like to take part in a trackday? I'm offering free passenger rides to forum members, helmet supplied. Just let me know below if you're interested.

John

PS, the organisers also offer a deal for €30 if you want to try a few laps in your own car..I'll supply the helmet if you want to try that!!

What time roughly.

I've never driven on track before.

The afternoon session begins at 2pm , lunch is from 1 to 2 so if you arrive after 1 you can get signed on and attend the briefing....

Yep, clever idea putting it on the tow bar, kept it off the wet ground!! Yep, there were quite a lot of red flags but that's expected when you get the kinda weather we got yesterday. the biggest pain was when some twat dumped a load of oil on the final turn, we lost nearly an hour while that was cleaned up.

I was in the line to go on track when you were leaving...have you copped yet that your novice sticker is still on your rear number plate?? :P :P :P :P

What make is that helmet, so comfortable. Another oil spill!?

Ha ha ya I took that off while I was giving the car a quick once over before heading home, went onto the grass on my first lap no damage just a mouth fill of grass.

At least you were on 4 wheels as opposed to 2 wheels when you got the mouth full of grass !!!
