JapFest 2017

I couldn't make this last year (in fact, have never been to this show) but might be able to get along this year (although it clashes with the Dublin Bike Ride).

For those who went last year (or who have been before) is it a good show? Is it worth the trip?

Thanks,

Graham

JapFest 2017

I've been going for the last 3 years and personally I love it although, as John said, it could be an age thing (I'm 23). For the most part it's heavily modified cars but some very very rare and very unusual jap cars show up at it too as well as some crazy builds!!
In recent years the Japanese car culture has gotten a lot bigger and the quality of cars is getting better with that...most people go through weeks and months of prep to have their cars ready for japfest!! You'll always have the few 'boy racer' types who've just put a massive exhaust on a standard civic though but each to their own

I go every year, biggest and best car show in Ireland imo. I'd definitely recommend it, standard of cars on show was very high in the last 2 years. Round 5 of the Irish Drift Championship is run in tandem with the car show and is always entertaining to watch. I've my '5 booked in for the individual section, be cool to see a few more '5s up there, any one else on here thinking of putting there's in?
If it's not Jap it's scrap!
