Rocker cover

Need help or advice fitting or fixing something

Rocker cover

Looking to clean my rocker cover it's just general build up of dirt and grime buts seems pretty stuck problem is its painted so don't want to chance any mad chemicals in case it removes the paint any ideas please

Buy polishing/stripping attachments for a drill, wire brushes etc. Remove the cover from the engine and do it on a bench!

Hi John thanks for the reply sorry prob shud have said not looking to strip it right back just want to get the grime off it wit out damaging the paint on the cover

try a drop of petrol on a cloth, petrol will usually remove any grease or grime. wash it off when clean.

WD40 is great for cleaning and won't damage anything.
