loose drivers door mirror

Postby Merlot man » Wed, 02 May 2012 10:32 +0000

Hello all ,I have a very loose driver's door mirror ,wont stay in its adjusted position. Passenger one is good and tight. Can it be tightened up or does it need to be replaced? Any and all help appreciated.
Thanks
Brian

If you take it off, I think there is a central bolt that you can tighten up on the bottom side of some of the mirrors (mine at least).

You can also get replacement bolt/spring from mx5parts if it's badly corroded.
