Hi,

my 2001 Mk2.5 (NL) import failed the NCT because the headlights point the wrong way (no surprise there). I've been trying for many months to pick up a 2nd hand set of headlights that point the right way but to no avail (the idea of paying 800 euros for a new set that may or may not fit doesn't sit very well with me ). Anybody got any suggestions?...

Traynors have at least 6-8 Mx5's in at the moment.

Type "Breaking MX-5" into Google and see what comes out.

When I moved from NL to the Isle of Man I bought lens covers (as reccomended by the testing center).
After fitting them I passed the test and the car became road legal in the UK and it got IoM plates.

I think the true answer there then is to take it to the IoM to get it tested!
