Steering is very vague and unstable at higher speed
Have 1990 jap import 1.6 power steering model
After I passed nct the steering feels very weird and dangerous at higher speed...complete loss of sharpness
Had car on the ramp and everything is tight...no movement or knocks at all
Allignement seems good as theres no shakes and car does go straight without pulling anywhere
Does anyone has any ideas?
Many thanks in advance

Can't imagine it would make a huge difference, but are you missing the engine undertray?

Check your tyre pressures on all four wheels , Mazda say 26 psi but that could go a bit harder depending on the tyre type , mine are at 29 which is about max . Also condition and type of tyres your using .
I would get the wheels rechecked for balance and alligment on all four wheels also not just the front axle , it's very possible you lost a wheel weight , have you kerbed , hit , changed or added spacers to the wheels in the last while ?
Do you have a " fast road/ track setup " on your alignment , if so is it sacrificing high speed stability for demon cornering ?
This would be my first steps , after that your looking at inner/ outer track rods and rack
These are light cars so small changes make a big difference .
Good luck with it and tell us how you get on

Thanks guys for replies
The thing is that I have the car over year and using it as every day car and everything was fine until I passed the nct then all this started
Have undertray, pressure is fine I didn't remove or change or add anything to it car was fine until I drove it off the nct centre
Anytime I steer or brake it feels like whale on ice
It must be very little thing as its passed slipped test and braking test
