ok, here we go. Received the new hood this afternoon...

BEFORE:

Some 'Dutch' courage = Ring some mates; Get out in the pissing rain and put up a 27' x 9' Gazebo (Doggy = my 3-legged baby girl 'Sandy').


OK, half way in... after 1.5hrs, than got stuck with the pop rivets for attaching the drain rail to the new hood.
Got loads of pics (36, so won't post them all).
Got funny pop rivets. Probably for the drain rail. Wonder where the 4 rivets are for the sides and 2 for the tension cables end-clips. Will go tomorrow to Halfords and buy a rivet popper and visit a few more websites.
Thanks a mill' for the tips. Almost first things I did was whip the chairs out. I've got the Evo-Stick Impact Glue (not sure what to do with this yet. If anyone has more tips, bring them on. Tomorrow (Fri) I'll be fitting the new roof. (most of you have my mobile).




AFTER:
I got fed up taking photos, so here the final thing. Tomorrow only have to put the carpet back, chairs back in and a good polish...
If anyone does want a manual, give me a shout and I'll write one out.

congrats on the purchase cloggy its a biggish job but not to bad once you get started but man its time consuming.take out the seats it makes the job much easier.destructions should have come with the hood and fitting bits make sure all these are present and see what they are pop rivets or cap rivets usually they are pop in this case you need a pop riveter buy one in halfords as they come with extra rivets and are cheap at around
16euro then just be careful with all the bits and pieces and watch putting the hood frame back in car as its easy to scratch the paint work above the windscreen.good luck dude.

The glue is for the metal part which goes along over the windscreen, and both of the front corners. It stops the leading edge and both front corners from wearing/fraying.

Dunno why you took out the seats though but if it works then it works
AND, you'll feel really really good each time you look at that hood....
