It's with a heavy heart that I'm forced to sell my 97 NA in british racing green. I've been the owner of this car for just over a year but due to financial reasons it has to go. The car is NCT'd til 09/13 and taxed til 07/13. 82,000 miles. It's lowered on TA Technix coilovers which really tightened up the handling. The standard shocks are included in the sale also. Fitted are a set of Gotti Cups, 15x7 ET28, which are Italian made ATS style wheels from the mid 90s, they have centre caps as can be seen in the last picture. Very good Continentals all round. Soft top was replaced last year and is 100%. The car is fitted with a Toad remote alarm/ immobiliser. The engine is 100% and has never given me a spot of bother. New CV joint ~400 miles ago and replaced the diff oil. I purchased a 1.8 LSD from Robert on here with the intention of swapping out the standard diff but never got around to it. I purchased it for €250 and will be including it. The car is washed and waxed weekly and never driven hard. The car is located in Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin. Any questions just ask.
I've tried to be as honest as possible about any bad points:
There are a couple of dings and blemishes to be found under close inspection as expected for a 16 year old car, but nothing major.
The clutch has a biting point that's higher than normal, I haven't investigated it but it hasn't gotten any worse in the year I've had it and drives perfect. The clutch shows no problems fast up through the gears.
There is a hole in the exhaust and would require a weld.
The driver's side lock is iffy and works half the time.
Small amount of wear on driver's seat bolster.
Tiny bit of bubbling on drivers side sill and front quarter.
