because, unfortunately, we haven't been able to use it even once this year, we've decided it's time to let our beloved '5 go.... :( :(

For those of you who know it........you know it.

For those that don't, well...........let's just say it's still wearing it's original (red) paint. The car is stored indoors, heated, and is the ultimate in an.......unrestored car. Which is part of the charm, actually. No, don't have to wash it, wax it, or anything. Gets a scratch ? Cool 8) Adds....'character.

It's a 1990 Mk1 1.6. I imported it direct from Japan in....crumbs, 9 years ago ??? jeepers....will qualify for classic insurance....soon ?

Mileage ?mmmm, about 70k kms. Had new belts and pump etc. Years ago :D Ditto on the hood...and that's the point - it's never got the chance to do any mileage worth talking about, so if for no other reason, it'd be a good idea to do them again. Will even help ya to do so, if you're interested (isn't that right Steve ? )

Has not been minded. Has sailed through every NCT it's ever done. Has been seen hurtling - violently - across connemara with a grinning 6yr old passenger.

Is completely bog standard. Steve R has no concept what that means (!), which is why it's unique.

Price......ho, hum, Eur 2550 ovno....?

If there was such a thing as a 2+2 '5, I can assure you this car wouldn't be for sale.......realistically, it'll be years before I have the 'freedom' to get back to something like this......

Car is in Co Galway - can deliver.

If however, you couldn't bear to buy it, you can buy my Porsche 968 instead.

086 4048668 is the number to call/text/etc.

ah, phukit........ I've just seen this clip - quite apart from the funky colour - I just love the car........ http://videos.streetfire.net/video/RS-Aizawa-Roadster-Part-2_95797.htm

Sheet - fwiw. I have too many cars. No, really. 2 x 968, 1 x Saab 9-3, 1 x Mazda MPV, 1 x '5. If I shifted anyone one of the others, even in a trade, I could hold on to the '5 and finally, finally............change the oil.

i'm not touchin' the paint, no way ! :)

bump a lump - actually, it's not, but I took some pics.

Due to shite weather, taken indoors, with camera phone, so sorry about the quality (!?)

Have a gander, here: http://galwaytt.smugmug.com/gallery/646 ... 3133_RZF7Y

Fwiw, I put the key in it on Sunday, for the first time since..........March/April. Yep, started perfect. If only everything in life was that reliable.

Tbh, I'd much rather sell our Saab 9-3 diesel than the '5.......
