MX5 MK1 for sale........bargain

I am selling my Mazda Mx5 MK1. reluctant sale but a fast sale needed

I have really looked after this car and it is washed and waxed regulary. check out carzone.ie for pics of it or at http://mymx5pics.synthasite.com/

It has had a new clutch put in. two new tyres and 4 new brake pad and ignition leads. has TT roll bar and cd player/radio. Its a jap import and so has power steering, elec windows and air con. has 89,000 miles on the clock and is in perfect working order.
I have had a new soft top fitted and the end of last summer proffesionally done and rarely used. also has matching colour hard top
Price: 4,400-------------but am willing to haggle

She looks great - But I think you will struggle to get that much for her in the "Present Economic Climate".

Apologies Ed, not what you want to hear I know, but I sold a similar one a few months ago and ended up taking a lot less than I wanted. Unfortunately you're dealing with a very narrow market - those that have the sense to appreciate these cars and not jsut see a number plate and of those, only the ones with the money to spare.

If you're in no rush, then by all means hold out, you may get what you want, but a quick look on a few sites will turn up 10 cheaper cars with similar spec.

The hardtop is a very nice extra, should help the price. Good luck with the sale.

Sorry for the thread hijacking

I am thinking of selling a 93 Vspec MX5 Auto import from Japan nothing done to it not in particularly great condition .Although it runs great.

How much should i ask for it?

It has full 2 year NCT taxed to May09.
