does the hood also fit a mk2?
if so, i'd be willing to offer £300 for the hood, if you can include fitting in the price.
what condition is the hood in, and old is it?

you'd be welcome to take my vinyl hood (has a repaired rip, and no leaks), if you wanted to keep your mk1 water tight...

how many hours would be required to fit? i would help if you don't mind (always like learning new things)
as a compromise on price, would you be willing to sell & fit for £350?
(also, where are you based?)

sorry if i offended you, i didn't mean that i expected you to do it for free.
i was only making a lower than asking price offer (fairly common for used items).

i know you offer non-genuine mk2 mohair hoods for £380 fitted,
so you can consider my offer withdrawn for the time being...

thanks anyway.

not offended at all , im used to dodging low balls

I thought i was on the honda forums for a while

free fitting is free fitting no matter what way you look at it , so i dont think i misunderstood that.... bottom line is im not cheap enough for you , so no bother

hope you get sorted

£20 per hour??

That's a LONG way from what a mazda dealer would charge you for doing anything to your car, did I see somewhere lately that €80 plus per hour is the current rate??

He was suggesting that my offers for the hood were reminiscent of the techniques used on forums for Honda owners (who tend to give low-ball offers in attempt to break you down on price). Obviously such owners & techniques are riff raff and will not be tolerated on the upper echelons of the MX5 Ireland forum :)

we just tend to quote realistic prices for what we offer for sale on the site..I don't think that there is anybody on the forum at the moment out to fleece any other member.
