i am about to place an order with my supplier for hoods and thought id offer up a group buy

alot of you guys order from Jack smiths in swansea , but the postage is a killer.
Also from personal experience his hoods arent that great quality wise and come unfinished across the front bow which can affect the overall fit.

The hoods im offering are oem mazda quality with rain gutter above the windows.

prices are for a

mk2 black mohair with heated glass window= £285 sterling
mk1 black vinyl with vinyl window £150 sterling
mk1 black mohair with vinyl window £ 215 sterling
mk2 black vinyl with heated glass window £ 235

other colours can supplied for an additional £35

If you pay by paypal ( add 4% for fees), i will post the hood to you. I cannot accept paypal as payment and have the hood collected.

All money needs paid before the order is placed.

its also worth noting that if you are fitting a new softtop , it would be worthwhile replacing your hood tension cables.
mk1 tension cables and mk2 tension cables are different lengths

do not buy the tension cables from mx5 parts - they arent great/ dont fit properly and dont have a plastic sheath on them..

autolink sell really good quality cables and have a plastic sheath like the oem ones and he charges £20 delivered, so if you want me to fit your hood , you need to supply these on the day.

Where would the fitting take place. I am in the market for a new Mk1 hood and would gladly take advice on the Mohair-v- Vinyl.
