91 Eunos Turbo

Postby twail » Wed, 16 May 2012 7:27 +0000

Really breaks my heart to even think about doing this, but unfortunetly I have to free up some cash for other plans!

So I have my 91 Eunos Roadster running a full custom turbo kit, fitted by DI Motorsports.

Specs are as follows;

*1600cc.

*Upgraded the diff (welded)/ half shafts/ prop shaft to the stronger 1.8 units.

*New triple plate excedy paddle clutch kit.

*T28 turbo with custom manifold/elbow/downpipe/flexi and full 2.5" straight
through exhaust. (Di Motorsports).

*Custom actuator bracket.

*Artec Fabrications stainless turbo oil/water lines kit.

*Front mount intercooler with custom Di motorsports stainless pipe work and bracket.

* Innovative Motorsports Lc-1 wideband O2 sensor with gauge.

*Full standalone Megasquirt Pnp ecu with map sensor/air temp sensors.

*550cc RX7 injectors.

*Walbro 255 fuel pump.

*6 point rear roll ball.

*Drivers bucket seat and harness.

*Brand new track rod ends, extra lock inner tie rods, with lock spacers too.

*Brand new eibach 30mm hubcentric spacers up front.

*Hydraulic handbrake. (standard one still there and working.

*New front pads.

*Just serviced using 15w 50? fully synthetic mobil 1 motorsports oil.

*Old school hks mushroom filter mounted directly onto turbo.

*Custom Oil catch can

* Raceland height adjustable coilovers, no problems whatso ever with them.

*Banded G60 steel wheels, 15 x 8.5 up front (195/45/15), 9 x 15 on the rear (195/50/15), with good tyres, also have spares to go with it.

*Soft top in good condition that doesnt leak (plastic rear window has small tear on it.

*New alignment bolts for the front suspension.

*Body and interior in good condition, small marks here and there, but once polished up is very presentable.

*Spare front bumper

*Adjustable front strut brace

*Sparco deep dish suede steering wheel in good condition.

*Gizmoo electronic boost controller, very easy to use.

*New coil pack, throttle position sensor, fuel pressure regulator.

*New denso spark plugs

*Nct out at the start of this month, only went through a year ago, and probably has less than a couple of thousand kms on it since, so shouldnt have any trouble going through again.

*Dirt cheap classic insurance, I have it down as a mx5 turbo fully comp for 300 per year.

I'm sure theres loads of other stuff there that I'm forgetting but I'll update as I remember!

At the moment the car is running at .3 bar and is an absolute flyer! It needs the mapping to be finished off so you can get the full potential out of it, 0.8bar, which should see between 220-240bhp.

Its probably about as quick as a standard s13 at the moment, so when its running full boost it will be unstoppable!!

This car stands me a serious amount of money! Turbo stuff alone was over 4k

So for the whole lot I'd be looking for €3300

Viewing and test drive strongly recommended!! You will be smiley at the end of it! Turbo noises are nice!

Thanks lads, yes alot of work/money has gone into this car!

In the above pictures the front bumperr is only half cable tied on,with no lights in it, all sorted now! 30mm spacers also aren't on either! Looks alot meaner with them!

So all this car needs is to have the mapping done for higher boost (0.8 ) and you'll have 230-240bhp straight away.

At the moment its at (0.3) and is fairly surprisingly fast at that!!

Thanks man, yes I've done pretty much everything to this car that is needed for a fast mx5, the only other upgrade I'd consider would be brakes, however, I've never found the standard ones to be lacking power? So never bothered!

I will really regret selling this, especially so cheap, I've priced it to sell!

The only reason I'm getting rid of it is to fund my 2013 racing season!
