1997 Mazda Eunos Roadster B2 Limited 1.8 133 BHP

NCT: 31/01/2015 (only passed on 4th of March first attempt!)
TAX: 04/2014 €190/3 months
This is a rare special edition of the MX5, only 1000 made.
Colour: Twighlight Blue (12K)
Soft top: Tan colour. No rips, excellent condition, only a few years old, with zip rear window
Hard top: Aftermarket, in good condition. Few scratches, thats all.
Extras: Chrome finished alloys, chrome finished mirrors, electric windows, rare special dashboard, MOMO steering wheel, alarm with immobiliser, windbreaker, electric aerial.
Engine: is perfect, no leaks. Only 154000 km (96000 miles), oil, filters changed last week before NCT
The car is rust free, not UK import,

I have the car for more than 3 years. Loads of money spent, loads of things done.
Oil pump, Timing belt (at 128000km), All fluids (oil, differential, brake, gearbox, etc) changed last year for Castrol oils. (at 140000km) At the same time, underseal was done as well, to protect from rust.
Clutch done 3 years ago (35k km ago), Master cylinder, slave cylinder, spark plugs, and ignition leads were changed as well in 2013

The car is great fun to drive, very fast, they don’t make cars like this anymore. The last year of production of the original pop up lamp. The only B2 Limited in Ireland, with tan top. Baby daughter forces to sale, anyway I would keep it forever.
No rush to sale, so no stupid offers. Dont try with loser license, or under 25 because you can’t get insured.
Test drive: with proof of valid insurance, and full driving license

Price: €2500 without hard top, €3000 with hard top

Hard top only: €750
I have 4 extra of the same chrome alloys (one of them is damaged). €200
It’s almost impossible to get them. MX5parts uk €284 each(!)

Nice car but i wouldnt knock drivers under 25 am 1 myself and have a few friends with mx5s under 25 and with privisional drivers licence aswel and all jap imports which would be dearer to insure than irish cars!!!

yup, im 24 and 1300e a year on 1.8 euros with only 2 NCB since drink and driving ban

This is a beautiful example of a mk1 mx5.

If i had the cash handy id be snapping this up pretty damn fast.

out of interest, what does a b2 have over standard?

Chrome alloys, mirrors, door handles. Just 1.8, and the color is an mk2 color.

Lovely car. I've been on the hunt for those very alloys for ages now. If by some fluke of luck you could sell them separately I'd be interested. Tall order I know. I certainly wouldn't separate them from the car.

I have someone else looking for these alloys as well. Unfortunatelly one of them is cracked from the extra 4... I was planning to send to Hungary, to fix it, cause here I tried a couple of places around Dublin, nobody wanted to do it. The crack is starting from the valve hole, that is the problem...

I think that someone else is my Dad. lol Was he from Wexford by any chance??? He told me about a guy with polished alloys, one of which was damaged. That's you I take it?

Yeap! Thats me! Finally the guy didnt take the car, so still have it. I promised pictures to your dad. I do it this weekend and send it to him. Still not sure I sell the alloys without the car... They need a good polish as well.
