MX5 RS

I have a Japanese RS which I would like to sell.

This is the blurb I found on an MX site:The car is definitely an RS model, its confirmed on Mazda's system, manufacturing date was 13/11/2000.

It has the "hard" suspension which means uprated Bilstein shocks and springs.

It also features the 153bhp 1.8 VVT engine, the 6-speed gearbox and limited slip differential. Hence why its so quick! Japan, UK, and Australia got the higher power VVT engine, it was reduced to 143bhp for the American market. If you see that power figure bandied around for the VVT engine, that only applies to U.S. Miatas.

I have no idea how to upload pics on this site....but the car is in super condition and if anyone is interested, message me here and we can take it from there.

Hello bernie
A price and location might help.
If yours is a vvt does that mean it's a mk 2.5 ?
I think these bits of info might help with a sale
Best of luck
Brian

Its not vvt unless its a mk2.5 as above.2001 onwards were vvt in 1.8 only but not 2000 models.

Robert is right..unless the engines where swapped. RS's where made Jan '98 to Jul ' 00 according to website. Has yours got 2 or 4 HT leads? There's a sticker inside drivers door that has info about the car.

To try and answer questions above: Location, County Galway. The info I post originally is exactly as I got from an MX site in the UK.
I am trying to attach a pic of the info inside the door as you requested. New to this site and a bit at sea.
