hey all looking for a mark1 1.6 project jap or irish , any mechanicals aren't a problem but would prefer a car without too much rust , any help would be appreciated

jimmyr, what price range is 'cheap'? This is my newbie question.
I've seen some cheap 1.8s under $1.5K and some much lower. Often with hardtop. I don't know about their condition.

Hey ozi have around 1100 cash waitin but could possibly stretch further depending on the condition of the car , really need a 1.6 , any mechanical problems are fine just don't want a bag of rust
