Fergus, I may have one if I can find it in the garage, PM me your address.

John

Actually, get hold of a pic and post it here, might make locating it easier

COOL !!
I'll take a pic of the connector tomorrow and post it up, there are two that go into the OEM ECU and they are yellow in colour, one is smaller than the other but it doesn't matter which one as long as I can get the 'pins' which are inside the connector itself :thumleft:
Thanks John :thumright:

Here are the part numbers for the ECU connectors (1.8 anyway). You can try and blag some 'samples' off Tyco for free ;-)

The company that makes them is AMP, and the part numbers are theirs:

353027-1 (17-pin plastic connector)
353029-1 (24-pin plastic connector)
353031-1 (31-pin plastic connector)

316836-1 (metal pin)
It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world

Frank - Thanks, it's probably the 316836-1 (metal pin) that I need, there's no Tyco in Cork and I got that Christmas feeling - I don't want to wait anymore

John, it's either of these two connectors that plug into the ECU...PM'ing my mobile number now :thumleft:
