started making a guard today and am looking for a cheap sump

can it not be welded Shane? I'm sure it can but i suppose it could cost more than a s/h one to fix.

it could be tig welded i suppose but it was a big hole the size of an apple in the sump.
i temporary fixed it with some steel and chemical metal but it leaks now.
suppose il just change it and have it right

if you have all the bits then it can be welded.

i lost all the bits on the road .. went looking but i couldnt find them.
still looking for a sump soon as possible

I have one off a1.6 auto. I assume they are the same. Located in Waterford or can bring to Kilkenny during the week
