My passenger seat is out at the moment as I'm working on some water damage, you're welcome to borrow that . I tried getting the driver seat out but it seems that the two rear nuts have welded to the chassis. I'll give it another go before the weekend. If it comes out you can borow both, I'll need them back before 14th..HALF-promised a friend I'd put the car in a classic?? car run. I'm based in newbridge.

Tried again tonight to shift them bolts..feckin stuck solid
![]() ![]() Can anyone give me a surefire way to remove two "welded" seat bolts. They are on the rear of the drivers seat and the location is somewhat restricting the level of torque I can manage to apply..maybe try an air gun to shock them out??? Kieran , keep working on the car and I'll let you know when I get the bolts off...now where did I put that angle-grinder ![]() ![]() HEEELLLLPPPP ![]() ![]() ![]() John
![]() yeah, try shocking them out. the problem is that they have a base that rises to the flats. Have gone through this before when swapping out seats (its usually the inside one thats the killer tho.. )
Steve
![]() Good news Kieran, got the nuts off courtesy of local tyre factors so if you want to borrow the seats give me a shout on 0872656053 and we'll make arrangements
