Sean, Drop me a line if you want a 1600 from 1991 Eunos that covered 103000 kilometres Or Can supply an 1800 that comes from original irish 1997 car had 38000 ,miles when last started, for that conversion you are going to need the ECU, manifolds and box as well, your looking at serious money but well worth it, If you are really serious about the job you can have a 1800 from a 2002 the VT sport the six speed and a limited diff from the same car thats well worth your effort., I have a 2001 red one on carzone that should give you an idea of the performance from thev VTSport Job.... Drop me a line at meathminis@hotmail.com

Just a quick note : you don't need the gearbox for the conversion, just a 1.8 flywheel + clutch. Many 1.6's run a 1.8 clutch in this way.
Out of curiosity, how are you controlling the VICS solenoid?

Cheers for the offer John but Sean will be getting a van and picking it up at the start of next week.
Any one out there wants to help with the fitting of the engine then speak up don't be shy. Not 100% on a date yet but when he has it at his house then we will confirm.
