Been wondering about the goings on there. I reckon Ben knew this would happen. It was fairly obvious. Nice bit of free advertising for the site. gutted you can't actually buy a veloceraptor. Those pitbull owners would think twice about intimidating me in the chipper

Back on thread.

Sorted - had to have half-an-inch removed off the bars by a stainless steel fabricator and thankfully the h/top is now fitting perfectly.

My sincere thanks to John v.special for the offer of help, to Steve for his advice and especially to Ollie for showing me the ropes and giving me the confidence to tackle the job.

It's the willingness of people like the above who offer help and advice that makes this a great community. :thumright: :thumright:

Hi Steve,

Yes, that's what he did. He did a terrific job including polishing the weld and only charged me €20 and he asked me to have the h/top on when collecting to ensure that it would fit, if not he would take some more off as no cost. Also, he was of the opinion that someone else had tried to do the job and left the passengers side a little proud.

He's big into hot-rodding and does a lot of work for some of the top rally drivers in the country, including the McHale's works cars.

Thanks again Steve.
